Why would an animal or insects that like to eat fly larvae leave such a great food source once they found it? Dusek is dying. This witness is great. Dusek is frustrated because this guy is not letting him get away with his B.S.

With Halls' testimony I think that there is reasonable doubt swirling in some peoples heads 221 posted on 8/1/02 12:25 PM Central by basscleff
Later tonight I think I shall make some swirling grasshoppers for our company in honor of the bugspurts who are not named Goff.

Dusek is back: Witness is not telling us when the bugs accessed the body. The accessing of the body and the act of laying eggs would occur (??) aftr the exposure of the body...

I read that, too, SFNPS. I interpreted it as a positive sign, in terms of reasonable doubt. They want to make sure they remember where Goof screwed up.

will access from minutes to hours..and is relying upon data.
how long did it take....the conditions he gave, those being met..answers being repeated time after time..it happens quickly. He can tell you it doesn't take days.

Thanks, but no thanks, Judy. I never have been one to sing Kumbaya if it's not from the heart. Namby-pamby games are not for me.

Well, new to the threads and already making major contributions!
What I.Ben said needs to be repeated.
IN response to question did the searcher that found Danielle's corpse testify: Yes he did. He and his searching friend are the ones that took pictures. Also led the entire team to view the body before the authorities arrived.
This would lead me to believe that with the entire SEARCH TEAM CROWDED around the body before the LE's even arrive, that any evidence found on the body would be invalidated. If LE's didn't take samples of everyone's clothing, GLOVES, etc to compare with. OR DID THEY ?

It still puts the date that she was placed at Dehesa after David Westerfield could have put her there.

Dusek just destroyed the testimony of Rodriguez, his own anthropologist. Dusek admitted that his anthropologist is not qualified as an entimologist.

So true! :) Some eat their peas/peace with honey.:)

The bodies in missouri they are moist, wet etc.. do they start mummification process objection, sustained rephrase...did you ever study bodies placed in dry desert type of environment. court reporter reads question. Answer..YES.

As an entomologist who studied forensic entomology (very potentially lucrative and interesting, but I didn't feel like working murder cases every day), and reading between the journalistic lines, I think the prosecution has a big problem here, if the jury understands it. It seems very unlikely that the suspect was the one who put the girl's body where it was found.
That said, I think all the adults involved in this story (the "parents" and their friends and associates, like the bum suspect) should be lined up and shot for the death of this little girl. None of them are innocent.
