Till the lightning falls- - - got any ideas? Ummm.....hmmmm....lightning falls. Could he mean until the War of the Ring is upon them, or could he mean the end of time? Wonder if there is anything written about the eschatology of Middle Earth some place.
I think there's a lot of good spiritual stuff about the healing of Theoden. For example:
He heard Gandalf, Stood up, and his eyes were opening.
Well I'm not about to put Gandalf in God's place, but this shows that Theoden couldn't come out of his dark night by his own efforts.
That's just one thing. I'm at work now and I'll have more time to write further when I get home. :)

Now that I think about it Gandalf doesn't go in God's place. He truly
is an angel in Theoden's case. Someone sent to heal Theoden.
Okay...back to work!

XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX SUNDAY SEPT 01, 2002 20:37:49 ET XXXXX
NEW LORD OF THE RINGS 'LEAKS' ON INTERNET -- 4 MONTHS BEFORE RELEASE
The new fuss film LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS has been leaked on to the Internet, it was claimed on Sunday -- more than 4 months before its release.
In a stunning slap at Hollywood and its ongoing copyright battle with digital swappers, Internet users boldly began trading copies of the latest RINGS on Sunday.
But one AOLTIMEWARNER executive expressed serious doubt that a file is in play.
"I have serious question about this, I am not sure we even have a finished product yet!" said the executive from New York. "I don't know what this is, but if it is the movie, or any portion of the movie, we will impose strict criminal penalties against anyone and everyone that downloads it!"
While the movie's distributor has no legitimate report of a leak, file traders were convinced they had the real movie, which is set for release in December.
Some prereleases that have hit the net recently include the first 3 episodes of the new SOPRANOS season and DVD rips of STAR WARS Episode 2 and SPIDERMAN.

Okay, Okay, Where DO you find these files!!...

Or representative of the Holy Spirit.....

I am actually willing to wait and see it on the big screen. I rarely go to the theater to see movies, but these are always worth it.
To: ican'tbelieveit
Of course, that works too!
To: ican'tbelieveit
You sound like me, RE going to the theater, I saw one film in 01- LotR, and will probably see two LotR and TTT this year- but I am curious about where people find this stuff.

I know that I got to see a trailer online for TTT that was filmed and then posted on the web. It was really poor quality. Just didn't make up for seeing the real thing. I will eventually invest in a huge screened tv just to get the feeling on these movies at home.
And when I watch them at home, I can take all of the time I want to watch and rewatch and memorize lines. I love subtitles, hehe.

I love subtitles, hehe. Stop! you made me laugh.
There are so few films that my husband and I would go see----even free---that we started going to some really wonderful foreign films, and that is just about all we've really seen for several years, and not too many of those!
I tried to get my kids to watch some- like Babbette's Feast and Manon of the Spring- and they just poo-poohed me, saying "I don't want to read my movies." Then one of them watch Babbette's Feast with me on the TV and thought it was pretty good.
To: LinnieBeth
Oh no, my kids love subtitles. When I had satellite, we regularly watched the foreign films on IFC and Sundance (i think). From time to time I can convince them to rent one at block buster. But we never watch a regular movie anymore without subtitles on. I love DVD.

Just saw the new teaser for TTT. Has a little of gollum in there, and I swear I saw an Oliphant.
To: ican'tbelieveit; LinnieBeth
You did see an Oliphant! We have been discussing it all morning! - It looks wonderful! Two places have good discussion:
Maquiladora posted a thread a few days ago for the Entertainment Tonight clip, and it has continued into this:
Two Towers Video Clips Online
And of course we have been discussing it, and I have posted some screen captures this morning in the Hobbit Hole, starting around 28330
To: HairOfTheDog
Oh cool. I hadn't thought to check back into the other thread. I was so thrilled, after hearing that there would be no oliphant in the movie. I just love that part of the story. Ok, I just love every single word in all of the books, LOL.

Ok, add me to whatever you have.
To: HairOfTheDog
Can you add me to the Spoilers list too?
To: LinnieBeth; ican'tbelieveit
You betcha! - added! - I don't add people to that spoiler list unless they ask, because not everyone likes spoilers!
To: ican'tbelieveit
I've added you to my ping list. Welcome! Only 78 days to go...
