Your pointing to specifics from the 8 Clinton years, I find quite helpful in putting these accusations against the president into perspective. It also raises doubt as to just how much the current administration is responsible for some of the specifics mentioned in the article. Most helpful.

Thank you.

I'll bet this author looks a lot like Michael Moore. Only more unkempt.

Jackbob, I think we've diffused this lefty turd-bomb. I'm sorry to report that we lost NCdoc on the way. He was a good man.

Why don't YOU tell me the whole story of the memo? You seem to think all info up top is complete. Tell us what happened.

No, I never implied that "all the info up top is complete." I only questioned your claim that it was "painfully incomplete." Now obviously, the word "painfully" is a relative term. I was wrong in assuming that you meant something unusually incomplete, which it was not. This writer was no more incomplete than any other writer you will find on any other subject. I'll thereby agree, it was painfully incomplete, and like all single column reports, it was lacking in facts.

As I said above, I never questioned your observation that the info was incomplete, likewise I never suggested that "the scenario was clearly presented." In as far as your question about how the Patriot Act can be abused, I suggest you do a simple, quick freeper search on the "patriot act" and you'll immediately find a good deal of explanation of how it can be abused.

Great find. Just what I was looking for. I'll be using it. Thankyou.

I agree with you, I also suspect this guy is lying. I'm now even sure of it.

I agree with you on this one. I think our propagandist really goofed trying to blame Bush for not taking actions on reports that hadn't yet climbed the chain to his attention.

John Crudele, a political investigative reporter for the NY Post, and Rodney Bowers, a political reporter for the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, were probably the two best players of this game.

Isn't Crudele the guy who claimed that Ken Starr would reveal evidence of Clinton sniffing cocaine in the Oval Office?

Wow! Your reply #26 should have been addressed to me. If you have a question about my reply #12, you might try asking me. I think my reply #12 was quite clear. I was replying to your reply #3.

You had asked: "who knows what's true?" I replied the Bush supporters should know.

You said: He's such a lousy writer.I said; A bad writer today, will be followed by a good writer tomorrow.

You had stated: Donald Rumsfeld does not come "out" with a press release from the Defense Department. Seeking clarity, I asked if you were suggesting that Rumsfeld doesn't put out press releases?

You said; That little scoop was painfully incomplete. And I asked; But can you tell me what was "painfully incomplete" about that 'little scoop?'

I don't see why you have a need to tell ravingnutter that I 'seem to think the Rumsfeld "iron fist" memo was fully presented.' I never suggested such, nor did you ever ask. Then you launch into an attack on FR, by stating that it "has become a nest of lies, demagoguery and hidden agendas." But the only lies told on this thread (not including those in the posted article) were told by you.

If you got this over riding need to know what I'm thinking, ask. I've got nothing to hide. Besides its a lot more conducive to honest communications, than running away with some wild unsupported imaginings.

There is no civility,only politics

How true, but I hope that does not mean civility won't even be sought after.

Al runs a site entitled "Al Martin Raw." He writes about X41's nefarious activities. Everything is written through that frame.

It certainly isn't unbiased - make of it what you will.

I am not naive about the Bush family, but I think this is just not credible - just my opinion. Check it out and see for yourself.

I concur. I think it has been substantially demonstrated on this thread that Martin is a liar. I'm quite satisfied, and will make use of what I got. Though greed for dessert, has me wanting more.

I am truly stumped by this reply to me. You say; I think we've diffused this lefty turd-bomb. I'll agree, that some substantial ammunition has been developed that can be used for that purpose. But that ammo was searched out, found and presented by persons other than you and me.

You then say that we lost NCdoc along the way. I should like to know what you mean by that. Are you saying he quit FR? I know that I ignored his replies, but that was only because I didn't want to deal with all of what is bad about the President. I was more interested in what was bad about about what Al Martin had written.

I'm truly sorry if I did anything to cause him to quit.
