Well, its dark now, and too dark for me to see anything at the eagles nest...but the sight is pretty nonetheless...pitch black at the nest, and the lights of the homes in the background....eagles all at rest now, after their busy day of finding food, and roosting on the nest....sleep tight, lovely eagles...

Yes, belly flopping on the cacti hurt. But I do have to admit in hindsight, that it prolly did look fairly funny. Little short me jumping out of some brush like a jackrabbit with stuff stuck to my chest cussing my brains out.
Yeah, I kinda like hanging out here. Reminds me that I'm not alone in weirdness.
My own experience with pain runs along the lines of playing tennis. Caught a good, stiff backhand in the predictable place.. didn't have time to sing soprano. I just curled up and hit the deck politely and stayed there. 'course, it was a Woman passing by that hit said backhand to me..... (No grudges held here. Jst wish it wasn't so.. so..... ) Had trouble for a few weeks after that. My dearest brother likes to bring that up. I remind him then of the electric fence, and falling out of the pine tree back ten years ago. (He found the last branch and was brought up short.)

There's a black swan on a smalll pond on Route 6. Oni might know where I'm talking about. Just outside of Port Jervis at what used to be Santini's Diner. Kinda had to do a double take to be sure. Black Swans... at least he isn't chasing my hat!
