HALVAH: Who YOU calling tubby??!!! This is a most panther-like pose.Ha! Is THAT her reasoning? It's the only reason I can think of for choosing THAT instead of a nice comfy couch or bed!

LOL! Does she really sleep like that??
She even uses a pillow! Quite civilized..

Yeah - she really sleeps like that! Flat on her back with her legs in the air. - with the pillow. MY pillow! When she began writhing in the pain of being told to move, she pushed the pillow onto the floor. They are all from the same event.

I think I've said this before...but what with my late nights here in the Hole or otherwise occupied on the internet, my dog has taken to going to bed before me. She sleeps on the bed, under the covers. I go in to sleep and usually just her head is poking out - she BARELY wakes up when I get in. Lazy bum!

She PUSHED the pillow? Or was it rudely YANKED out from under hand?

Most cats have a "jungle feline" attitude. They liken themselves to their personal favorites among the BIG cats. Halvah appears to have a panther ideology.
My dear old Missy (no longer with me either) had a lioness complex. She did the hunting and would bring me the "leftovers", since I was in her "pride".
I've seen pretty much all personality types in pets since I worked at a vet clinic for many years before turning secretary. The most dreaded personality type in cats is the cheetah. They react very quickly and aggressively - from coach potato to hand biter in 0.2 seconds!!
