I don't like it this way anyway....
To: HairOfTheDog
Can't look out the window? Not enough floor space? No place for the cat?
To: Overtaxed
Much more floor space this way. I can still look out on the ponies from my desk, but I am facing the corner and I don't like that part.
I used to have my big desk (it's 4X7) kinda right in the middle of the room with only one end against the wall. I faced the living room part of the room, and looked over my desk to see the TV... Now I have it with the back against the wall in the corner... and I have to turn around to see the TV... It is not as good.

Hmmm....that would be a problem for the view/chat....if we ever get one together!
To: Overtaxed
Yeah - it's a problem in a lot of ways... I thought I wanted a change. Maybe I didn't. Gonna stare at it for awhile and see if a solution comes to me. If I disappear, it is because I had to take my computer apart again!
Found my police scanner again in all this rearranging... listening now to all the activity...
To: HairOfTheDog
Found my police scanner again in all this rearranging I know what you mean! Found my lost remote cleaning the living room today.
Talk to you tomorrow....I'm a pooped hobbit.

Good evening! Just checking in. Hubby and I just sat on the couch and watched a full movie! That doesn't happen often. It was an oldey called "The Red House" and was a thriller. The station had one break, and I made popcorn during it.
I played my whistles a lot today. I actually think I rubbed a blister on my upper lip! I didn't get a good whistle at the powwow...just another cane B whistle. But I played it right after I bought it and the guy that sold it to me was even astounded it would play! A girl walked by and said "Hey! Do you play the pennywhistle?" and I said I did and she said "I recognize that tune...Swallowtail Jig...I can play it too!" She commmented that she didn't think the whistles I bought could really play and was surprised to hear me playing it! She thought they were just toys. I only paid a buck for it.
I did see some absolutely beautiful 5-hole native-american flutes carved from single pieces of wood. They had a beautiful haunting sound...cost about $200 each...
Alright, church in AM, so I'm heading to bed. See you all later.

Top o' the evening to everyone.
Corin: Sorry your weekend started out like the stuff Hair has to shovel from Bay's stall. But hey, there's two whole days left! ;^)
Hair: So you finally moved yourself into Took corner? Tell OT "hi" for me.
All: I got back a bit ago from a minimoot at a friend's house. He had one of those projector's used for PowerPoint presentations hooked up. We watched the movie projected onto a wall of his house. It was great, almost like being in the theatre again.
I think that would be the way to go at the Entmoot. Watch FoTR and TT on the wall and then head to the theatre to view RoTK. If we decide on Florida then I'll see what I can do to arrange something like that.
I have the movie on again here while I prepare the house for my wife's and children's return from NH. They've been gone since 8/15, I miss 'em.
Oohh, look at that, Saruman is teaching Gandalf how to breakdance. He's so nice.

Is it me or does Viggo look like he doesn't know what he is doing with his bow in the beginning of the Balin's Tomb battle?

Well, the weapons trainer guy on the DVD praised Viggo for his swordplay, and didn't mention his archery....
To: HairOfTheDog
That's true, he didn't.
I was just looking at your homepage, I love your "Valley of the Shadow of Death" pic. LOL! ;^)

Good Morning, everyone!
Are nice hobbitses rested? Has Master Dwarf recovered his strength?
It's stopped raining here. I'm planning on hanging out today.
To: Overtaxed
"Talk to you tomorrow....I'm a pooped hobbit."
Yeah, after 9 turnovers... :-)
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
Well! I will stick my head in to say good morning!
Hullo! - Good morning! I am moving on to other tasks today, other rooms!
To: Overtaxed
Good morning OT!
Did you get enough rain to green up the grass in the lake?
To: HairOfTheDog
Yes. The grass in the lake is pretty green. We had flash flood warnings last night maybe the flood ended up in the lake. Guess I'll find out in a bit when I cross the lake. :)
How are the horse and pony today? Knees okay?
