Here is the one I am
considering having the courage to include on my Christmas wish list. It is the highes quality one I have seen.
It is from here: United Cutlery Narsil
United Cutlery has meticulously reproduced the actual prop swords using only the finest grade materials and craftsmanship of the highest quality. Each sword is presented with a hardwood wall plaque and a certificate of authenticity.
Narsil, the mighty sword of King Elendil. Narsil is perhaps the most famous sword in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. At the end of the second age of "Middle Earth," Narsil's blade was shattered as Elendil fell during the Last Alliance of Elves and Men in the great battle of Sauron. Isuldur, Elendil's son, then used the broken hilt of Narsil to cut the One Ring from Sauron's finger, breaking the bonds of his power, banishing his evil shadow into the darkness.
Features include antique silver plated metal handle parts with 24-K gold plated fittings and genuine leather-wrapped grip. Engraved on the pommel are runes in the Elven Language of Sindarin that say, "Narsil is my name, a mighty sword; Telchar made me in Nogrod."
Overall Length: 52-7/8" Blade Length: 40-5/8" Blade Thickness: 1/4" Blade Material: Tempered 420 J2 stainless steel. Handle Material: Solid metal crossguard and pommel, antique silver plated finish, 24-K gold plated fittings, engraved Elven runes, genuine leather wrapped grip, rat-tail tang construction.. Plaque: 8-7/8" x 16" x 3/4" wood, silkscreen Elven runes. Hardware, instructions included.
Artist rendering. Product is pending approval. Final items may vary in detail.

I got a precious without even trying!
Am I good or what?
To: HairOfTheDog
instructions included. Those I would like to see!
To: HairOfTheDog
I need to find the sheath too though... if we are gonna wear it.
To: RosieCotton
Yes, I know they mean mounting instructions, but it struck me as funny...
To: RosieCotton
Instructions: strike at opponent in either long sweeping motions or in straight stabbing fashion, paying attention to style and choreography for maximum effect.

I bet if I'd gone out there brandishing Narsil, he'd have gotten a grip pretty quick! Or lost it completely! LOL
To: RosieCotton
Or thought she was a kindred spirit.
To: HairOfTheDog

Hi all, I'm home! Okay it seems I had to reboot because it was doing that update configuration files thing when I turned the 'puter on. I tried Windows Media Player first and it did okay until the shot of Edoras. Then it started doing the still thing again. It ran ok on the DivX player. It wasn't exactly widescreen, though
To: Overtaxed
You can bump it to full screen.... push the little button just to the left of the rewind button. Looks like a little screen with arrows.
To: 2Jedismom
I think I did see it posted yesterday...
To: HairOfTheDog
Does that make it really Widescreen or just make the picture bigger?
To: 2Jedismom; RosieCotton
My C whistle is a little over 12 1/2 inches (31.9mm) long. It's 3/4 inches wide at the top and tapers to 3/8 inch at the bottom
To: Overtaxed
That's it...about an inch longer than my Feadóg. Nice! I can manage my B ok, so I feel pretty excited about getting this C.
To: Overtaxed
Well, I guess it just makes the picture bigger, it goes as big as will fit. I thought that was what you were asking! It isn't in widescreen format, so I guess the answer is no!
To: HairOfTheDog
Oh well, guess I'm a picky hobbit! I couldn't get it to play on Quicktime either. My memory is returning. That copy of the TTT trailer that you sent me wouldn't play on WMP but it does on Quicktime....go figure.
To: HairOfTheDog
Whew, this sinful behavior is taking forever! I'm almost to the 7th disk out of 14!
To: 2Jedismom
I was gonna try to figure out why it was taking so many disks... Seems like several audio tapes should fit on a disk... How big are the files? What is it you are copying?
