I am glad I was delayed here, because Blockbuster didn't open till 10:00, and I got there about 9:45. Dang, there I was, standing outside a video store waiting for it to open. Two teenagers drove up.... lookin' all hopeful and fidgety, asked me what time it was... and older hobbit pulled up and got out smiling, his wife waited in the car. Couldn't read her feelings on the matter.

Went in when they opened, and the staff there made a big production about presenting us with our copies! Felt silly but it was fun.

OK - gonna go open it and pop it in now.

Early chat for the extra content sounds fun! I was a bit disappointed that I seemed to be the only one in the checkout line with a copy of The DVD, but then I was a bit late (didn't get there until 12:15 am) so maybe all the other obsessive/compulsives had already been there and gone!

This Fox Special is really cool, I am watching it first... I missed it when it was on... of course, I have seen some of the snippets and screencaps from it, but never the whole thing.

Got my copy while I was at lunch... then went home and watched some "choice" Aragorn minutes... heavy sigh! Anyway, will not see the rest until Saturday.

I will say that in the video, the sound is better, the ring, when it speaks, can be heard a lot better....

I am watching all the special features first..

I think you will like the TT preview. I was able to download it a few days ago - they have alot of stuff in there about bringing Smeagol to life... You should be pleased with it!
