SONG PARODY: Mr. Sandman (whoops, Mr. Sandman blows the game)
DOUG FROM UPLAND - Song Parodies | 11-2001 | Lyrics, Doug from Upland

Posted on 11/04/2001 9:24:28 PM PST by doug from upland

MIDI - MR. SANDMAN

Mr. Sandman…here is the ball
We know you're ready to answer the call
Up on the rubber, the heat you'll be throwing
We know the big game you will not be blowing

Mr. Sandman…what do I see
There's D-backs running…they're shouting with glee
Please tell me that it ain't true…Mr. Sandman what did you do

Mr. Sandman…Kim was the goat
But now it seems that you're in the same boat
The biggest Yanks fan tonight will throw dishes
To grab the spotlight was one of her wises

Mr. Sandman…what do I see
There's D-backs running…they're shouting with glee
Please tell me that it ain't true…Mr. Sandman what did you do

I was asleep and before I awoke to get onto FR to give myself awareness and understanding I had I dream.

In this dream were little people, probably 3 inches tall who climed atop musical instruments for a contest and began to play.

There were no words, their tiny bodies would have sounded a bit odd, like this entire post, but the music was good. I have no real interest in music and I never learned to read sheet music, wish I had.

I liked the part where the guitarist, could have been something else, put on the gloves and slid down the neck of that instrument grabbing/stroking chords.

I remember that the best way to remember dreams is to write them down. But since I cannot write music.....

Maybe I had the dream because of some bad beans for dinner... maybe that Welch's strawberry had fermented.. =o)

All I know is that we were those little guys, those Americans... and we aren't giving in! Even if the Rangers never go to the world series and the Cowboys put Jerry Jones in as starting QB.

lol.. thought you'd appreciate how pathetic my dreams are.

God, man, that song eas #1 in 1955. Few people here are old enough to know the tune. At the time it reminded me of a girl I had the hots for.

Well, I went through some MIDI sites and it's the only one I could find with Sandman in it. It's easy to find a rap song with bithes and hos ----- but Snoop doesn't seem to have any with Sandman.
