Did this happen on Taco Tuesday? It could be anarchy.
Depending on slave labor has caused Democrats economic woes before.
It would have been almost real journalism if the “reporter” had told us where these restaurants ARE, other than 8 in Arizona and 1 in Mexico.
We have a Taco Giro in our small town of Sierra Vista. They’ve been closed for a while.
Now fine the taco shops.
From the article: “Taco Giro, which operates nine locations in the state and one in Mexico, lost about 10 percent of its staff after ICE agents raided their homes.”
Just doing some math here:
1 location in Mexico
9 locations in USA
Now 10% of the staff is deported - sounds like the solution should be:
2 locations in Mexico
8 locations in USA
Just sayin...
"Taco chain forced to shut seven restaurants after workers are detained by ICE"
Should read:
"Taco chain forced to shut seven restaurants after illegal workers are detained by ICE"
So, blacks, whites and legal Mexicans can’t cook Mexican food?
It sounds like Taco Giro needs a hard attitude adjustment.
Some years ago I ate regularly at a Mexican restaurant near the bus station in San Antonio. Service was good and the food was great. Then one day I went in and service was terrible - not many waiters around. There were a couple of tables of INS guys, and I figured a bunch of the employees went out the back door when they came in. All the INS guys seemed to want was some good food.
Arizona?
Why are we not hearing about the Large Fines Arrests and Jail time for the owners???
Why hasn’t the IRS paid the owner a visit????
We are wining but lets make it a Grand Slam!
Anyone else wonder if senior Rodriguez, as director of operations, insured that all applicant’s I-9’s were filled out and verified prior to these employees ever clocking in? The violations at that level result in compounded fines. I sure hope the owners, director of operations and any manager involved the violations are personally held accountable and fined. That is how you stop these illegals from getting employed over Americans.
