Awesome! The whole story, at the link, is worth the read. Great kid, great family.

And there are more photos of her other kills. Scroll down for a single and below that a manual slideshow.

12 year old girl shooting a 7mm magnum.

Extraordinary.

It causes most grown men to flinch.

https://gununiversity.com/7mm-rem-mag-vs-300-win-mag/

I have rifle that is capable of 600 yards, much heavier bullet.

The 7MM Rem Mag shoots very flat and travels very fast.

At that range, the bullet and load is critical.

I have a gun smith friend from childhood that bought a custom built 257 Weatherby Magnum that he could not close bolt on local reload from new brass, I did a little research for him. Found the tolerances of some of the reloading dies simply were not close enough in tolerance. Different dies, very hard on crimping and seating and all was well. Tighter fit of brass and chamber is critical in a number of high performance rifles.

Nice shot.
Where’s the pictures of her field dressing and packing/loading out?
That’s where trophy wives of the future impress the most.

Those are my kind of neighbors. (Meaning the kind I wish I had living around me, not necessarily the kind I actually have)

600 yard shots at elk are unethical. Her dad taught her the wrong lesson.
