Judge Tosses Conviction of Somali Who Ripped Off Minnesota Taxpayers

Yeah, the whole thing with the Hoffman shooter stinks to high heaven as well. A lot of money was being sent to Africa to get illegal immigrants here and immediately on social services for the rest of their life.

I guess I did not know that a judge could overturn a jury verdict. Strange...I thought the judge was there to pass sentence after the jury said guilty. Or is Minnesota different? What happens now? Guessing the perp(s) can’t be tried twice for the same crime so they will go on hosing the people of Minnesota. Sooner or later, this situation is going to lead to BIG problems if it hasn’t already. Maybe there’s somebody else in this chain of events who CAN be tried for this abuse of public funds. Just hoping they can find an honest judge.

The “judge” looks like she is about 22 years old. How the hell did that completely unqualified moron get on the bench? Probably gave a big fat campaign donation to Tampon Tim.

If the evidence was so bad, why did she even send it to the jury? She admits that rampant fraud occurred, but states there could be some other explanation without providing an example. Why hire a defense attorney if the judge is going to act like one?
