Maybe not as "upscale" as it used to be?
Yes stupidity spreads if not kept in check.
Rascals. Or pranksters.
Yeah, the youth today, especially those in blue so called “sanctuary” cities are going to hell in a hand basket. No so much in the red states and cities, kind of says something, doesn’t it?
Just my opinion, but ruffian is not racist, and Rap isn’t music. It’s noise, so that wouldn’t qualify them as aspiring musician. Aspiring athlete maybe, but they would have to pass a drug test, so how about neophyte pimp or gangbanger?
Put enough of them in one place and ...
Upscale? Kinda like wood paneling and a porcelain toilet bowl and a toilet paper holder in an outhouse. New york will be nice after a tsunami destroys everything and a volcano erupts in Central Park. The idea of New York needs to stay alive. I was born in New York City. The city as it is,...needs to die.
I know...”shut your ugly face before I kick your teeth in”....one denizen will say...
“I’ve driven over the Whitestone bridge countless times (tho mostly as a kid), and this is the 1st I’ve heard of Malba. I had to look up where it was.”
You can see the Malba neighborhood while driving east over the Whitestone Bridge. Many stately homes located on the Long Island Sound. The area is ethnically Irish and Italian, and one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in NYC. The crime rate is very low - perhaps due to the number of high-ranking mafia members who allegedly live there. Here’ an article that summarizes the vibe in Malba: https://theneighborhoods.substack.com/p/malba-queens
