Not true.
Thiel sold Nvidia. That’s not “getting out of AI.” Investors rotate positions all the time — selling one company says nothing about their conviction in the entire sector.
Just from Tampa General’s and Cleveland Clinic press releases and their appearances at the Palantir AI bootcamps. The demos for scheduling staffing and monitoring for sepsis indicators are compelling and have reduced patient wait times and improved sepsis outcomes. https://www.youtube.com/c/palantirtech
First bought in May 21 and have added in every year since. It crashed in 22/23, but the more I learned, the more I bought (what I was able to afford..no margin) It has been an incredible ride, last month notwithstanding.
It could change things but given the racial animus being pushed in our country, you’ll see laws being pushed to give special weightings to certain ethnic groups to offset their tendency to do the things that would diminish their “social scores”.
Their staffing programs suck! Our managers complain they have to do more micro fixes and spending twice the time to finalize our nursing schedules for the next time period than they ever did with the supposedly more hands on system Palantir Tympani scheduling has replaced it with. It sucks!
Don’t believe the hype of press releases regarding the scheduler systems>
Sepsis monitoring may very well be a bright star in the palantir sky...as the metrics and science involved in such monitoring is straight forward. Staff schduling traditionally is like herding cats especially when it comes to nursing with a population that is very dynamic in their needs for schduling flexibility, especially mothers with kids. It works better for male RN’s....try and guess why!!
