Except for the situation that both Target and Walmart are both front-ends for China if I understand correctly, tariff issues, the above statement is doubtful imo because Trump recently posted that Walmart is claiming that Thanksgiving this year will be 25% cheaper than Biden's last Thanksgiving in office.

One of the themes of his campaign last year was that he’d bring prices down starting on his first day. (He also promised a quick resolution to the Russia-Ukraine War, but that conflict and other foreign wars don’t really resonate with middle American voters.)
