Maybe hooking up a computer for the advantage of a much larger monitor isn't a great way to do online banking. Or porn.

Hdmi ports have no sensors to spy on anything.
Author wrote this so dumb people would click on his stuff.

That’s one reason why my older LG TV isn’t going online. OTA, DVD/Blu-Ray, Antenna only. No wifi enabled. No cable connection.

YouTube has become filled with AI junk videos disguised as history discussions, documentaries, do-it-yourself techniques, human interest stories, home improvement tips, etc., etc.

If I weren’t so blamed lazy I’d check out the Roku menu. Hmm, I probably did that when I set it up, would explain why none of the ads ever have relevance to me.

This isn’t one of them. Lon’s been at this for years.

CORRECT! (Just in case anyone was dubious of your statement).
It’s not much above a claim that your power cable is spying on you.
To: SunkenCiv
I haven’t watched TV in probably 20 years. The only thing I use it for is my Playstation games.

My TV tells me that space is the final frontier and I’ve just entered the Twilight Zone.

It would be happening before or during output to the port.

In the video he clarifies that the HDMI port is not doing the spying.

The TV is a computer with drivers and an n OS just like your phone and laptop. It’s all software.

YouTube has become filled with AI junk videos disguised as history discussions, documentaries, do-it-yourself techniques, human interest stories, home improvement tips, etc., etc. Yep, it's really sickening. However, just recently I saw a history video that was prepared the "old-fashioned way", that had a "No AI" banner at the intro. It was styled like the older film ratings symbols. Maybe that'll start a trend.

Software requires hardware.
