The "Ohtani rule" is a Major League Baseball rule, adopted in 2022, that allows a starting pitcher who also begins the game as the designated hitter (DH) to remain in the game as the DH even after being removed from the pitcher's mound. They changed the rules for Ohtani.
see..some good did come the atomic bombimg of Japan. We taught them baseball after WW2 was over. So there...

Dang.
The Seattle Mariners won’t be able to face the ex-Seattle Pilots in the World Series this year. Hopefully, the Mariners will pick up their fourth win against the Toronto Blue Jays and we’ll have a west coast World Series.
Go Mariners!
Oh, and nice game Ohtani . . .

Phenomenal. The last player who I can think of who was a great pitcher and a great hitter was Babe Ruth but Ruth never accomplished this in a single game.

That was an incredible hit as well.
Many don’t know Ruth was such a great pitcher. All the more impressive.
Pretty insane game tonight.

Give him oranges instead of flowers. Everyone knows oranges are a rare delicacy in Japan.
