My medical file of surgeries due to the damage of my Ankylosing Spondylitis, broken bones, broken back, broken arms, wrists, ankles, ribs just over the last ten years almost reads like a medical journal.
I'm still getting over the knee reconstruction I had on my right knee LAST OCTOBER where I slipped and wrenched my knee so badly it tore my meniscus in half, created tissue damage and a hematoma. And they found Ankylosing Spondylitis in my right knee. Yee haw.
Moving to Southeast Tennessee after my close at the end of this month. Already have friends down there and they say they've been waiting for me.
My two sons are also in Tennessee. Moved them down there three years ago this December. They'll both be relatively close by so if Dad has another fall and breaks something again, they'll be nearby enough to help if needed.
I'm also getting ready to retire. Working until March 2027 to get my 20 years in at the bank and the bump in my pension as a result. I'll be 64 and still "young enough" to enjoy life and see all the National and State Parks in Tennessee.
Honestly, once I get to Tennesse, I'm likely NEVER leaving the state.
Good riddance to Illinois, the crime, murder, mega-high taxes and the fattest, worst, most tyrannical Governor in the country, JB Prickster. Gov. Fatso can kiss my lily white ass October 30th. I'm outta here.

You could say Pritzker has already planned to flee Chicago, and the state of Illinois. He’s just making smoke to hide his plans. I think he’s taking on an assignment to make Tennessee a blue state, home base being Memphis.
It's a gardeners Mecca. I have Banana trees, lime trees, fish pond fountains(to remove mosquitoes from the area naturally), Sweet Bays, Fuku Persimmons, and pear trees. The yields on the pear trees are mind boggling. Too hot for apples, cherries, grapes, rhubarb, horseradish, asparagus, and potatoes. Sweet potatoes will grow as big as basketballs.
Sounds like the right move!

Too late! Bought my home in SE Tennessee, closing Oct. 30th. Memphis is the whole other side of the state away from where I'll be. No more big towns for me, and as God is my witness I'm NEVER leaving Tennessee once I get there.
Been wanting to move there for 20 years.
We moved to Tennessee 30 years ago. No regrets.
I'm good with that! I hate the cold weather, I'd rather mow the acre I bought than shovel snow!
