Ahh. I thought it should have been a yearly fee. They can probably amortize the cost of a one time fee over several years and it won’t hurt as much.

Hold on. This is confusing. I thought leftists wanted higher fees and taxes to go to the government.
Maybe it’s just they want other people to have higher taxes and fees.
As another poster pointed out the other day, straight white American males won’t slave away all hours of the day as researchers on projects or as TAs being paid a small stipend. They have a choice and can always quit in the middle of a project for a more lucrative paycheck with no real repercussions. Foreign students would be sent home in disgrace if they did the same thing.
So how many slaves do you own? Are you saying economic freedom is a bad thing? I mean WTF?
