This is just more re-cycled green bs. I remember about 20 years ago when the Obozo regime actually banned otc inhalers for just this reason, to “save the environment”.
Upon reflection it was closer to 15 years.
Cough. Had to use my inhaler twice on this wow.
They’re trying to use something called “carbon dioxide equivalent emissions” for the inhalers, meaning, I suppose, that they assume the contents of the inhalers are somehow much more effective at global warming than mere CO2 for a given weight. Just the usual misleading weasel-word crap you can expect from the climate scammers.
The CO2 in an inhaler is not produced by the inhaler. It is removed from the atmosphere, put in the inhaler and then released back into the atmosphere.
The only CO2 that is produced is from the patient who is allowed to continue breathing after the asthmatic episode.
What a stupid article.
Spot on must be another slow news day.
Oh for God’s sake! They do not. I use a steroid inhaler for asthma every day. Its a powder that you suck up into your lungs no aerosol. The albuterol rescue inhaler is a mist but it goes straight into your lungs not the air. 🙄
LOL, there is approximately 8 billion people on the planet now, and if you take their number and divide it by that figure it comes up to approx. 6.78 lbs of CO2 per person living per year.
We should be more worried about the amount of trash that many inhalers are creating and the natural resources used than CO2...
The bubbles in beer are pure CO2. How long before the climate cult wants to ban beer?
