If I am correct Cities are chartered by the State; so, Chicago is a creature of Illinois. So; Illinois is rebelling against federal law. So; Insurrection. The only problem is, Illinois doesn't appear to have a military to fight with. Are they going to rant and rave and burn their own cities to the ground?

I'd say there will be a few CPDOs who will be shot, if that happens. ICE officers are now wired for survival. None of them will subject themselves to voluntary arrest.

Im quite sure his order is null and void. He runs a city, he cannot dictate federal immigration law…. He can lie to the illegals and tell them about the mythical ICE free zones…. Just like at one point they declared Chicago a “sanctuary city”. All he is doing is giving the illegals a false sense of security. ICE will not be stopped by this clown and Id love to see him send CPD off to arrest them while theyre working.
