“Trump’s visa plan pushes H-1B ‘refugees’ to move elsewhere: ‘it made me feel like a second-class citizen’:
Ummm, CNBC, I think that is the point of Trump’s visa plan. I think that’s what success looks like. But, then again, the mainstream media wouldn’t know anything about success
How many lies did she tell to remain illegal in this country. I’m sick of illegals demanding the American dream for themselves.
Ummmm...you were never a citizen to begin with and it appears that you never tried to become one.
What about AMERICA FIRST doesn’t this Chinaman understand.
Of course he is second class. Now, GTHO.
‘she’
So long, Qian. You made out pretty well here. You should not be mouthing complaints.
You ARE a ‘second-class’ citizen........In fact, YOU AREN’T A CITIZEN AT ALL!.........................
So she is now healing from the trauma of being here in the US? Glad you’re gone.
BTW - her ‘partner’ must be a Sumo wrestler. Check out the photo of her baby. LOL
If they are H1B workers, they should not feel like any kind of “citizen” let alone a second class one.
Perhaps the instructions for those Visas should be in Hindi.
And perhaps in the 10+ years this person was in the US, making six figures, she might have considered getting citizenship. She was supposed to be smart. I guess she isn’t.
I worked at a bank. We used to joke that anyone who wasn’t a teller was a VP. And it wasn’t too far removed from the truth. I used to tell my family that I was responsible for more Female Vice Presidents than all of the political parties combined.
We used to have to further define the VP titles. There was your run of the mill Supervisor VP. Then there was a local senior VP. Then there was the regional VP. A regional Executive VP. Then, when you moved up it was Corporate VP, SVP, and EVP.
And none of the titles reflected whether you were local, regional, or Corporate. Going to all officer meetings was the biggest “d measuring” cluster I’ve ever seen in my life because the local folks would have no idea of where you worked.
At first it was interesting and fun. Then it got tedious. Then it became such an ego thing it was unbearable.
You are an H1B visa holder, not a “citizen”, dummy. If you were really a “citizen” you would not need the H1B visa!!!!
She’s probably an embedded agent.
H1B unfortunately was abused by big companies. Instead of using it to find the best and the brightest, it was used to recruit lower level workers who were quite literally replacing American workers. They used them to keep wages flat.
Trump’s 100k fee should take the program back to its original intent. It should be limited to senior level experts since, if you are training a young H1B, you could just as well train an American.
It should be pointed out that we already bring in a million immigrants each year. So it’s not like ending or limiting H1B shuts us off from the world.
Keeping wages flat part worker like a charm.
It should also be noted that modern communications make it easy to set up offices abroad. Many companies do this and avoid residence issues altogether. They will send a few key personnel to run the office, to keep the work consistent with the rest of the company, but the workers are local hires. So ending H1B is not a cure all, companies can still replace you.
She got into bed with an employer that would not support her applying for a Green card, in spite of her having been here since 2009
Your point is stupid. If they move offshore at least the COLONIZATION of America will stop. You are comparing apples and oranges. Go away.
Hummm. Been here for 16 years, “embraced the American dream” yet never applied for citizenship. Hummmmm.
