I was shocked to learn that she made the same accusations against several other people including a former President of CBS,Leslie Moonves. I was even more shocked to learn the only person sued in civil court was President Trump.

I did notice that. She's not only a loony toon she's stupid.
Unfortunately so are the juries, the judges and the prosecutors.
It took a crooked judge running manipulating the trial to get the conviction.
High-end department stores have excellent security.
The department store would have video recordings of going in & out of dressing rooms and the store.
A competent lawyer or the “Special Victims” unit of the NYPD could and would have secured those recordings.

Definitely NOT the lines along which he should be seeking an appeal. It’s most likely to get him his cash back, but it won’t clear his name. He needs to argue that the trial was not fair.
She made up the entire story, didn’t she? Who funded her lawsuit?
Ni juries are made up of mostly Oprzh winfrey and The View viewers.......dumb as they come.
The problem is she couldn't. Initially she put the date of buying and wearing the dress and the "rape" to sometime in 1994, but when the designer noted that the dress was not sold until several years later, she changed her story to sometime late 1996, early 1997.
That of course had no impact on the case.
She used a tv episode of Law and Order that was the plot she used against Trump.
I do not know if Trump was allowed to bring that up. I suspect not.
Also the judges daughter is making millions which means the judge is being bribed. E. Jean Carroll is a nut who paints trees and rocks blue and has since she was a child accused I think 7 men of sexually abusing her.
Some court would throw this out. Is it going it the supreme court?
