I hope you meant “misled”, not “mislead”, conservatives.
I was scheduled to retire april 2019. They closed the office end of march. I kept asking my bosses and co workers if they knew if anyone was sick. They never gave me one persons name. In PA there was one COVID case when they shut the state down.
“””In PA there was one COVID case when they shut the state down.”””
They had to start the experiment on controlling people to see if people would comply.
“ In the 20th century, scarlet fever was the leading cause of death in children, with a mortality rate of 20%.” Do you mean the 19th century when you talk about the late 1800’s as the 20th century? My brother had scarlet fever twice in the late 1950’s and he is now 82.
“ At some point, persons being born in 2025 should probably get a Covid vaccine.” why? The Covid vaxx offers no protection! I have relatives who got the vaxx and the boosters and still got repeatedly sick from the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Herd immunity is better than taking lifetime risks from taking a poorly tested spike protein gene altering mRNA shot.
misled
I was quoting.
The quote probably refers to circa 1900.
I should have read it more carefully and searched for and used another quote.
My apologies.
Before the first Covid vaccine shot was given to a member of Congress, it was known that it would not be 100% effective.
Clinic trials indicated that ~94% effectiveness was to be expected. The complement to that is a ~6% failure rate.
