The only sanctions or tariffs that would effect Russia would hurt us more.
That should be obvious after three and half years of these threats.
It's delusional to think otherwise.
😀
Well, Russia has absolutely nothing to worry about then. We’ll see, I guess.
The GayTroll is trolling you. He often accuses those who he is trolling of “ducking the question”.
He’s a troll POS.
Hungary and Slovakia: The Kremlin’s Oil Addicts in the EU:
When Donald Trump recently notified Europe for still bankrolling a bit Putin’s war through energy imports, he might not have realized how accurate the blow landed — right on Hungary and Slovakia, the last two EU states still hooked almost entirely on Russian oil!
The broader EU has moved mountains since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Back then, Russia supplied roughly 25% of the EU’s crude oil imports and 40% of its natural gas. Fast-forward to 2024: Russian oil now makes up less than 5% of EU imports, and Russian pipeline gas is down to under 10%. Brussels has diversified supplies through Norway, the U.S., Middle Eastern partners, and LNG terminals across the continent. The shift has been painful, costly — but decisive.
Except in Budapest and Bratislava. These two pro-russians : Orban and Fico, should be ashamed to contradict Trump’s wish here.
INDEED:
Hungary STILL receives about 90–95% of its oil through the Druzhba (“Friendship”) pipeline, straight from Russia. Orbán lobbied fiercely to win exemptions from the EU’s oil embargo, arguing his landlocked country had “no alternatives.” In reality, he had no political will to cut ties with Moscow.
Slovakia is in the same position. Its main refinery, Slovnaft, was built for Russian Urals crude and still runs almost exclusively on it. Prime Minister Robert Fico has echoed Orbán’s resistance to diversifying away from Russian supply.
Orban and Fico are literally drugged on our adversary’s oil (Russia) - talk about weakness and servitude! They have lost all self-respect and dignity. They chose to be Kremlin’s slaves.
In other words: while the EU as a whole has slashed Russian energy imports to a fraction, Hungary and Slovakia stand out as the Kremlin’s last loyal customers inside the Union.
THE IRONY:
And here’s the irony: by clinging to Russian oil, Orbán and Fico are putting themselves in direct opposition to Trump’s own criticism. Trump’s jab about Europe’s reliance on Russian energy was aimed broadly, but today it applies almost exclusively to these two laggards. Europe has largely kicked the habit — except for Hungary and Slovakia, who still write Putin a check every time they fill a barrel.
While most of Europe has proven it can endure hardship to cut dependence on Russian energy, Hungary and Slovakia prefer to stay leashed to the Kremlin pipeline. In doing so, they aren’t just undermining EU solidarity — they’re proving Trump right, in the worst possible way.
Fico? Orban? Are you listening? Trump wants you to STOP importing Russian oil! Are you going to decisive Trump in not doing so? Or are you continuing to please your daddy Putin instead?
We shall see...
You notice that Orbán and Fico weren’t there at Donald Trump’s full meeting with European leaders at the White House, licking Daddy Trump’s shoes like the rest of the Europeein’ vassals...
INDEED what one finds in your comment is the IRONY -- some old Methodist woman uses capital letters in her stuff like TRUTH and PONDER -- so you might consider that. It has ring of something or the other.
Since you also ping Маркус in the list, and because I have several times provided him the proper website and contact information for Putin, here for you are the contact information, such that you can DIRECTLY contact two others with your CONCERNS, as you ask "Are you listening?"
PONDER contacting them directly, since now you have their information ---
Office of the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic "Email: premier@vlada.gov.sk "And since we here in the US also continue to import Rooskie products -- oh, yes we do too -- you can express your CONCERN with IRONY to others, more than at the end of an aging FR thread.Viktor Orbán Prime minister " E-mail: miniszterelnok@me.gov.hu "
INDEED:
Therefore, in addition to you being able to address your concerns to PRESIDENT Trump -- using the capitalizaton to emphasize that you did not give him his proper title -- here is contact for him as well."The Russian Federation retains dominant market positions in several strategic categories. It supplies: 83.85% of U.S. imports of phosphatic fertilizer mixes; 49.58% of urea-ammonium nitrate fertilizers; 45.34% of unwrought palladium; 44.67% of buckwheat..."

Contact the President President Donald J. Trump, "Contact Us"LASTLY, I want to compliment you on your extraordinarily masterful use of English, as you wrote:
"Are you going to decisive Trump in not doing so?"Peut-être est-il temps de retourner à l’école?
“Why do you guys keep posting that when you know that Russia shares about 1600 miles of border with our alliance nations and forces, and never seems very concerned about it?”
Those countries are not as close to the Russian heartland as Ukraine. I don’t blame the Russians for being touchy about foreign troops there. The Germans launched three offensives into Russia from Ukraine; the southern prong of Operation Typhoon, Case Blue, and the southern prong of Operation Citadel.
Which doesn’t explain why they keep posting that ignorant claim over and over, year after year.
Thank you for the email addresses. I have sent my comment to the pro-Neo Soviet enthusiasts of the EU : Orban and Fico - they are probably suffering from some misplaced nostalgia.
As well, I will have to ask Trump if he’s playing 4D chess or having double standards.
Evidently I posted this previously, showing America is importing lots of energy from Russia, including Uranium, Plutonium... That makes it difficult for America to put demands on the EU concerning those matters. Unless... Trump is playing 4D chess of course.
Here is my previous comment about it:

And thank you for alerting me about my typo in a previous comment.
Here is the corrected version :
“While most of Europe has proven it can endure hardship to cut dependence on Russian energy, Hungary and Slovakia prefer to stay leashed to the Kremlin pipeline. In doing so, they aren’t just undermining EU solidarity — they’re proving Trump right, in the worst possible way.
Fico? Orban? Are you listening? Trump wants you to STOP importing Russian oil! Are you going to deceive Trump in not doing so? Or are you continuing to please your daddy Putin instead?”
Please tell me if it is correctly written. I hope so, because Fico and Orban got my email already.
I am sure they will take you as seriously as some in these threads do.
It's too bad you didn't make comment on the continuing import of Russian products to the United States. Perhaps President Trump would like to hear from you as well, about our continuing business with Russia?
“It’s too bad you didn’t make comment on the continuing import of Russian products to the United States.”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Well I did.
I sent you the link in my previous post where I commented on that specifically.
Please look again.
