Next Summer, I finally get a chance. There's an IN N OUT in The Colony too across from Grandscape. The mega retail center owned by Warren Buffet with a Nebraska Furniture Mart, Scheels, stores, restaurants, amusement, you name it. Cool.
After eating a few, you’ll find out why they’ve been nicknamed “sliders” ;-)
White Castle is my guilty pleasure. When I used to work crazy hours they would always be open for a cheap meal. I missed them while living in Dallas although Whataburger became my other guilty pleasure.
I like them but prefer Krystal
Very similar
Krystal sweeter bun
White Castle burgers are small tasty bits of fun in your mouth-either with or without cheese.
You will enjoy them. The onions are grilled and the yeast rolls used make it lean to the sweeter side.
The place sure is not fancy, though.
Cool....thanks. Can’t wait!
Very simple and inexpensive little burgers that aren’t bad at all. Especially when you’ve been out late bar hopping with the posse. Their quality has not declined since I had my first 50 years ago to the last one I ate a couple of months ago. Not many chain restaurants can say that.
hahahaha...uh oh. Trouble ahead.
White Castles are ok once in a while, I love their onion chips.
Just shove two restaurants apart and slide a White Castle in between.
Ping!
We used to call them “Belly Bombers”.
You also have Savvy Sliders - one each in Dallas and Ft. Worth.

They sell white castles in the frozen section at my Walmart.....probably not AS good as just made but they’re fine as far as I’m concerned.
Its bizarre to me the Texans in denial about IN N OUT burger. Recognized globally as one of if not the best highest quality fast food hamburger in the world.
And here in Texas, always packed, always crowded, always a line of Texans who publicly denigrate it but secretly line up.
Thanks. Now I really want to try white castle. And whattaburger is a nothing burger , a tasteless nothing that sucks...
Many of there stores have a second full kitchen in the basement. This is a classy company. I built ten locations for them. Quality management.
I’ll never forget in 1973 seeing my first White Castle on Bardstown Road in Louisville and wondering how they could get away with copying Krystal restaurants.
