Gotta wonder if’n they had that much cashflow... why didn’t he install his own warning system to protect his investment as well as customers. Inquiring minds want to know.

Yeah, but then you need a WiFi/Cellphone connection back to Headquarters for each of the 50 or so ‘sensors’.

If your camp is actually on the river, you only need one flood alarm. It will give you a couple of minutes of warning, in even the worst case scenario.

Would more sensors, farther up river, give you even more warning? Sure. Great to have. But they could have some warning for pittance.
