We’re all slaves. we’re just along for the ride.
Thank you for your most irrelevant comment, sir.
Seems right on point to me, but it’s your thread so I’m obviously wrong.
FDR came from a slave state. New York was a slave state.

It’s not a matter of degree, but of KIND. Like someone can’t be only a little pregnant, mostly dead, or a little communist, yes, it’s an all or nothing condition.
If you declare you OWN any percentage of my knowledge, skills, creativity, property, sweat of my brow or labor with punishments (fines, confiscation, imprisonment) for non-compliance, you have enslaved me.
Yeah, it’s that simple. So simple a caveman could understand it.
Just ask Mao: “All political power comes from the barrel of a gun”
FDR’s core support was in the southern states.
There fixed it for ya.
All the original slave states were democrat ... many didn’t elect their first Republican until the sixties...
You know, they were all slave states when we started.
So "Massachusetts"?
Slave state?
Are you living in 1848?
Biden was Delaware and Obama was Chicago. Neither slave states.
Right you are. Our OP is not known to possess basic English skills.
New York was a slave state.
Not only that but New York was named after the guy who ran the largest slaving firm of the British empire, James Duke of York (who later became James II)
many didn’t elect their first Republican until the sixties...
I think it is more pertinent to note that since Reagan, every Democrat candidate that said what he would do has lost (with the possible exception of Biden), while the two Democrat candidates that lied about what they would do, Clinton and Obama, won two terms each.
As I look at the landscape, the only candidate would could pull off lying about not being leftist is Beshear; the only question is whether the smoke-filled room where nominees are appointed will be filled with people willing to promote someone who says he is a centrist.
See tagline.
They lost with them too.

All of the 13 original states were slaveholding colonies before the Revolution. Vermont was the first state never to have slavery legal.
Martin van Buren was from New York. His father at one point was a slaveowner.
Me looking at my paycheck trying to figure out when Donald Trump and Wes Moore worked some of my hours.
