then it’d seem that in the vastness of the universe, it’s quite likely that other life forms have developed.

And not necessarily in our own timeline. They could be thousands, if not millions of years more advanced than us. Which would also include their discovery of inter dimensional travel.

An old preacher friend once told me there are a lot of mysteries in the Bible, that I don't fully understand, but I try not to spend a lot of time on them and concentrate on those I understand all too well.
