It looks to me that the Texas Republicans are trying to un-Gerrymander districts that used Gerrymandering to favor Democrats. Look at the Congressional District Map around Harris County to see what I mean. And the Democrats call this Gerrymandering.

If the Supreme Court throws out race-based districts, then a lot will change

The GOP needs to fight this one. I don’t want to hear that goofy, “you got to choose you battles” BS. This is the hill to die on. The RATS have never been stood up to like this before. They’ve even got The Faux Texan, Boy Beto Bandito crapping his pants and running to hide behind the skirts of the Prickster, Newscum and Hocall. The boy wants to “fight fire with fire”. He’s a tough guy when peeping out from between the Prickster’s legs.

“The Republicans are better positioned to win the larger conflict because the Democrats have already gerrymandered all the juice out of their states “

Yup.
Massachusetts for example has a 9 - 0 gerrymandered Democrat to Republican congress people margin already.
Can you squeeze more Democrat seats out of that?
Nope.

Every Republican governor and legislature in every state controlled by Republicans needs to grow a pair and gerrymander the s__t out of their state.

In the 2030 census the illegals will be gone and the gloves off. They’re really going to have to pull a rabbit out of the hat to survive what’s in store for them.

D**n straight a lot will change! A black representative will be impossible unless we have district lines drawn to create majority black districts. You need chocolate-colored districts or you don't have democracy! You don't really think a bunch of crackers will vote for a brother or sister, do you, you racists!

It’s literally almost impossible at this point for the democrats to win the House of Representatives without massive gerrymandering in the deep blue states, a look at the county-by-county map of the 2024 election shows this clear as day.

The author gives too much credit to the GOP. They are experts at snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory.

The other problem that will arise in a few months is some of these incumbent Dems might get primaried and lose. The GOP should get itself positioned to help with a little subterfuge in this regard, because the challenger could damage or beat the incumbent, and then massively lose to the Republican.

May also lead to adding more blue states to the Preclearance Rules in the 2032 Voting Rights Act rules, as that year will be when a new VRA must be done. Adding preclearance to those states is what conservatives must do because they see how the districts are being done to appease urban liberals. The whole point of the Democrat Way is a Rural Purge so each district is represented by an urban or college town legislator.

One of the biggest changes we need in politics is to remove party affiliation from the ballot.

Citizens should do the research needed to make an informed decision and then vote for the individuals they choose.

This developing story shows what a sham is "democracy", and not just lately.

The only difference from before is now you have politicians being self-righteous about gerrymandering.

Would it be possible to gerrymander all black districts out of existence and vote in 30-40 black republicans? That would tick them off.

If they do it, the howling, and the calls that “WE SIMPLY MUST PACK THE COURTS!” (assuming they ever get power again)

Also, I would be scared of what the left would do if this happened.

It’s not a war if only one side ( the Democrats ) is fighting.

If they can’t, I wouldn’t put it past NATO leadership doing something crazy against Russia in attempts to depose the current administration.
