I haven’t looked in to restoring the message and signature yet. Will be looking for a chemical solution - like lemon juice or something, if possible.
As far as I’m concerned, the only “value” is to me - a giant of a man and President of Fisk Telephone systems in Houston at the time, taking the time to meet me, give me the picture and sign it for me and then spend a few minutes talking to me. Definitely “a truly good man.”
The picture goes to my daughter when I’m gone.

WHAT? Blu is gone? That’s impossible — I always considered her sort of a Bagster-ette, who would always be ready with either a logical and calming answer, or a brickbat, whichever was needed.
