Spamming the same central topic, from several different sources is just posting @#$~! trying to gaslight people
It does no good, especially when you all get 10-20 threads a day pushing how the U.S. should give it’s entire military inventory to the grifter zelensky, put U.S. boots on the ground, and allow the use of tactical long range missiles and even nukes for ukraine against russia, while the U.S. is paying most of ukraine’s people’s salaries and supporting their living standard, while the U.S. has to BORROW THAT MONEY, AND PAY INTEREST ON IT.
Trump didn’t get the U.S. involved in the war, and Trump should just walk away, because the U.S. gets nothing from it, and zelensky has shown he has no interest in peace.
dropped ending ‘is useless’ from end of first sentence
You disagree with the president, nothing wrong with that, but Trump has American troops in Germany right now training Ukrainians to fight the Russian and North Korean troops, and he had troops in Ukraine training the Ukrainians to fight the Russians, during his first term, when he also started the process of supplying them with American weapons.
Of course European deadbeats want to join NATO, they want our money and equipment while they pretend to be fearful of a weak Russia who is bogged down in Ukraine.
It’ll be a big payout for these little countries that want our Treasury Department giving them financing and the ability to purchase our military equipment.
New NATO countries don’t impress me and neither does old NATO, without us they aren’t much.
It is clear that you don’t really know much about this.
You make a lot of sense to me.
Saves me a lot of typing
“Of course European deadbeats want to join NATO, they want our money and equipment”
NATO is a full employment program for government bureaucrats and defense contractors. The countries that joined? The very bureaucrats and politicians who made the decision are the ones who get the cush jobs at NATO. The defense industries in those countries suddenly get sales... Sweden is a classic example.
NATO is about money, not defense.
As someone who was involved with NATO projects through the years, I confirm that's essentially true. But for the sake of accuracy, your statement needs to be tweaked just a hair: NATO is about money and enriching useless bureaucrats, rapacious defense contractors, politicians across the Western world and other such parasites on humanity. It has a secondary mission of the defense of Europe from Soviet aggression, even though the Soviet Union has been gone for more than 30 years. . . (Sorry, Zeepers, it isn't coming back.)
I suggest a new, far more useful "military" alliance to protect sane, traditional Westerners from the authoritarian, Orwellian predations of most of Europe's governments and from the globalist, transnational Left whose marching orders those governments dance to.
“New NATO countries don’t impress me and neither does old NATO, without us they aren’t much.”
More useless strategic liabilities. Ever wonder why Sweden and Finland joined now? When they didn’t join when the Soviet Union was a greater threat? They joined now because Russia is a weak paper tiger and won’t attack them now. The old Soviet Union would have made them pay dearly. Now they can get away with it.
Must be hard on you to see even President Trump call the Russians “disgusting”.
Sick joke.
Putin fans are making less sense every day.
It’s really none of our business.
WHY is Russia our enemy?
You sound like the warpigs (vampiressVicky, RobertKagan) at ISW and the whole neocon war promotion gang, Lindsey, Bolton, Kristol, Starmer, Macron, Merz, Rudde, et al.
No, I don’t sound like anyone, I posted some of the existing facts and you want to believe some strange fantasy, a different strange reality that is in your head, look at all the military actions and buildups, and weapon development that Trump has done during his administrations that are focused on Russia as an enemy, and then try to make the long list of all the other world nations who devote from all to most of their massive military spending on defense from Russia.
You can find someone to argue with about the whys of Russia being an enemy, but you can’t deny that they are.
Better Russians than Americans. Which could happen if we keep going down this road of escalation.
Obviously, spamming the cr@p out of FR with Operation Mockingbird articles is a sick joke. Agree.
I do deny that Russia is (intrinsically/necessarily) our enemy and you have not shown that to be the case other than military buildups and weapons developments etc.
By your standard any nation that goes beyond a certain amount of military power, that which could even possibly threaten total US hegemony, is an enemy right ?
Just look at which country the guns are pointed at and where the barriers are being built and the Air Forces based around Europe.
I’m not trying to show you anything and I have no standard involved, I’m just pointing out the fact of American national defense along with dozens of European nations and many more of the world’s nations whose wealth and militaries are focused on Russia as the enemy.
Ask President Trump why he devotes so much of our military budget and his European military actions to defending against Russia and why he is the most powerful force opposing Russia and North Korea in their European War.
Also cut that Ukrainian bisexual comedian, who is angling to conscript +60 year olds, off. Zelenskky aides (And materialistic wife) are purchasing and flaunting some pretty expensive stuff in the middle of all this killing. No good guys in all of this, just profit, power, or bust. STAY OUT OF THIS, ESPECIALLY USING TAXPAYER'S REVENUE NEXT GENERATION'S RESORCES BEING STOLEN THROUGH DEBT "BORROWING".
