Yeah.....I'm not buying the whole divine intervention part. I have my problems with how the government operates now but I don't see a better choice. Individual rights are less respected in Europe.

I do. The real history involves sovereign states and them never once agreeing to surrender their sovereignty or right to unilaterally secede when they ratified the constitution and joined a VOLUNTARY union.
