“People willing to obey orders.”
And who have absolutely no compassion for “enemy combatants”. They are now a trained military force and WE are the enemy. Everyone of us has a bomb in our pocket.
“Do you have anything I need to worry about? Any needles, knives, guns, or bombs in your pockets?”

I have family and friends that are officers (UK and USA). I am pro-law, as are Freepers. I am even more pro-Constitution, which should be redundant - but it is not. I've seen far too many instances of police having no clue of Constitutional rights, along with their ego and badge driving them into rage filled violations of basic rights. Many thinking they're 'clever' by doing dumb things to circumvent rights, or are just fundamentally ignorant of civil rights: - I smell , so I'm going to search your vehicle - You're slurring your words (when you're not) - Putting a foot in an open door at your residence, when there's no warrant, ignoring demands they leave - You must provide ID (when there's no articulable crime), or you're going to jail (as though they have the right to demand ID for no cause) - "We got a call" (so your rights disappear, usually demanding ID) - You must answer our questions or it's 'obstruction' - I don't KNOW you've NOT committed a crime - You need to prove you live here (or are allowed to be somewhere), with no cause to believe you don't/aren't - You've no business here (in a public building, breaking no law), free press/1A be damned - You're trespassed, requiring ID, when you've not even been asked to leave - It's against the law to record me - Saying "for officer safety", as an excuse to violate any and all rights - ... The part that really bothers me is that this should all be BASIC training. It's as if cops aren't even taught about civil rights, or, if they are, the testing bar is so low a recruit can fail understanding them and still graduate. Worse, when basic rights are being violated, other officers stand around and do nothing. Sometimes, even supervisors don't know better either. When victims of abuses point out the wrongdoing, the inevitable lawsuit mentioned, they just say, "that's fine"...as there's no personal financial consequence, just the taxpayer's money. The culture of law enforcement needs to evolve. They have a tough job - but too many don't stop bad officers. Many bad officers are only held accountable due to video recordings, which is just sad. Training is clearly lacking. Don't get me started on the UK, it's 1000% worse...Sept. 13th is going to be massive.

Another one... “Why do won’t you look at me, are you guilty of something?”
Because you keep optically assaulting me and causing extreme physical discomfort with your flashlight in my eyes!. I can’t even think rationally because of it!
Which is of course the idea. It is a form of torture without physical contact.

I call BULLSHIRT on this!
One quick look would tell if the vehicle had hand controls.
Some guy claiming he can’t walk with legs convulsing, then making himself fall out of the car, screams FAKE. I doubt this is even a REAL traffic stop no matter how many times it appears on YouTube.

I was in an accident and the cop put in the report that I was “fumbling through wallet looking for registration.” Duh!

Yes, because before he even got out of his vehicle you were already guilty of driving under the influence. Fumbling through your wallet was his “proof” even though he had none at all.
It is that “got to get them for SOMETHING” subconscious mind and that was the only thing he/she could come up with. I have heard some really dumb low IQ stuff come from their “got to invent something” reasoning process.

“In my wild impetuous youth, I participated in a couple of those myself!”
They were stupid. But fun!
