Oh, no! I just saw him in Dexter this past weekend.
Some of the best Cosby moments involved his character. He said one that his mother would take her with him when she met with the financial advisors handling his paychecks. He hated it as a teenager, but learned the business side of things and how to handle money.
Update : Warner drowned off the coast of Costa Rica on Sunday, Costa Rican National Police told ABC News. Warner’s official cause of death was asphyxia, police said.
Warner died near Cocles, a beach in Limon, Costa Rica, police said. Police said he was caught by a high current in the water and was discovered Sunday afternoon.

Never heard a bad thing about the guy. I grew up watching him on the Cosby show.
Unfortunately, I don’t expect for Bill Cosby to be invited to the funeral or memorial service, due to past Me-Too scandals and his imprisonment. Perhaps enough time has gone by since those trials, allowing some folks to be openly appreciative of Bill and the acting opportunities his show made available to many young actors.
Rip tides in Costa Rica are a constant danger on both coasts.

I remember one funny bit where Theo, the teenage son says, “we’re rich.”
His Dad says, “no, I’m rich. You have nothing.”
He was clearly doing it wrong.

Which probably means he went into cardiac arrest, which caused the drowning. Sad. He was a great actor and the Cosby Show was great entertainment.
This really saddens me. He was a genuinely nice guy. God rest his soul.
