The only thing the delivery service is interested in hearing from you is a sekf-incriminating statement.
Anything the driver says can and will be used against the driver in the upside-down court of the delivery service.
Make the positive statement that the delivery was completed as required. Don’t admit anything bad. Hang up.
...and buy and wear a body cam, capturing audio and video for all deliveries.
I use door dash all the time and many here take a picture at delivery and send it to me as well as the company.
When I meet them at the door, some will still want a picture, and I smile and say no problem and hold out the bag.
