Reminds me of the time in 1987 a West German piloted a single engine prop aircraft across the Soviet Union and landed in Red Square.
During World War 2, the Allies were able to effectively defend London from V1 cruise missiles using radar direct AA guns.
And the name of the pilot was......
I believe I recall reading stories of allied pilots matching speed with their aircraft to the buzz bomb doodlebug V1 and V2 rockets and nudging them off course to crash.

would be more effective to destroy all of Russia’s oil refineries.
You’re right. Some of the RAF pilots would use their win tip to nudge the V rockets off course and they’d spiral down. That was really gutsy.
On shoring US manufacturing, domestic energy independence along with advanced North American missile defense systems is essential as long as the Russian Ukrainian conflict increases the risk of world war.
No doubt Lavrov and Putin’s propagandists will continue to threaten retaliation against the West after every attack on Russia.
With a very secure defensive system for CONUS and independent self sufficient economy, the US can ignore all the idiotic statements coming from Russia and Ukraine.
Russia is facing a demographic disaster; their economy is weak and heavily devoted to military spending. Hopefully, they will become irrelevant and fade into oblivion like Prussia.
What would Putin so without his tens of thousands of Iranian Shaheed drones? Israel should have blown up the factories.
Might not have been as gutsy as using guns, having it explode and flying through the debris cloud.
V1’s (buzz bombs) only. The V2’s were ballistic missiles very similar to today’s intercontinental ballistic missiles.
An intrepid young man. Sure caught the Russians flat footed. Kid made it all the way to Red Square flying under the Soviet radar.

Zelensky offers Russia more peace talks, says he wants to speed up cease-fire negotiations

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday that Kyiv has sent Moscow an offer to hold another round of peace talks next week, and that he wanted to speed up negotiations for a cease-fire.
“Everything should be done to achieve a cease-fire,” Zelensky said in his evening address to the nation.
“The Russian side should stop hiding from decisions,” he added.
The conman, grifter zelensky really wants peace.... continuing to attack putin..., while gaslighting everyone into thinking he’s the good guy
V-1 speed was 350 - 400 mph. Allied planes would down V-1’s by bumping them with their wing. Only way to stop V-2’s was destroy their launch sites.
From ChatGPT:
Total daily flights for Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovskiy airports.
761 flights/day, 254 flights/day, 246 flights/day. No available flights/day information for the final airport Zhukovskiy, though lists 4095 passengers daily at this smaller airport.
The source seems to be some organization called Airportia.
So total flights/day 1261 + Zhukovskiy. Reasonable estimate 1300.
Comparison 812/day at Reagan National
650 BWI, 850 Dulles
