Well, I was in my teens in the mid-70s and remember many good things happening after midnight. I wish I could remember their names. 😁

Or tell time, read a map, perform basic mathematical operations, write cursive...many have never read a book.
Youngsters today aren’t taught any of these.
Back in my early days practicing law, we often did deals on a handshake. Although formal retainer agreements were recommended, they were not required then, and most of my retainer agreements were a firm handshake and eye contact. I got screwed a few times, but generally, my "handshake clients" promptly paid their legal fees.
I think the most difficult lesson is, Life is not fair. Once you accept that, everything else should fall into place.
The one I grew up with that’s lacking today is “Mind your own (dang) business”. That went out the window with social media.
Further expounded on in “Animal House” - “Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to through life.”
Not on the list but I believe this to be just as good - show me who your friends are, and I’ll show you who you are.

And that’s the one that so many of today’s young people, especially young, white college educated women, struggle with. They have been taught that the world of the white man is horrible because it does not produce fair equitable results for everyone. Therefore, it must be destroyed and replaced with the socialist utopia where everyone has what they and their families have. What they don’t understand is that’s not the equality the Left has in mind. There is more than one way to make everyone equal.
My favorite which has worked to keep me mostly happy is “Don’t expect much and you’ll never be dissappointed”

Yup—the “waiter” test is one reason old time job interviews included taking prospective management hires out for a meal.
They will treat their subordinates the same way they treat the help in the restaurant.
