Looks like a housing unit in NY State Prisons. The only difference being that there are no individual lockers, which they won’t be needing anyway, because they won’t be there that long.

"I believe the facilities are in fact environmentally controlled."
I'm sure they have a/c there, which they don't have in regular prisons.

It’s probably epoxy coating over decals then. I can’t imagine they would use luxury vinyl tile. Too expensive!!! That’s why I thought stained concrete.

My a/c has been broken for four days now. Waiting for the landlord to get somebody over here to put freon in the thing. Thankfully it's less humid today, but it's supposed to be in the 90's here on Sunday with high humidity. I might have to head to the detention center to get some relief. Of course I'd have to drive from NY State to get there, but at least the car has a/c.

I’ve been in several Florida state prison facilities with my church’s prison ministry.
This is way more accommodating that some of those I’ve been in....not to mention many aren’t environmentally controlled.
Once, we were there in a frog stranger rain storm....the humidity was so bad the walls were sweating which caused water puddles in the corridors.....I’ve never seen that before.

Hilarious story! How I wish you could have enjoyed Napoli as a tourist, as I have many times. I call it the Paris of the south!
Trying to envision where you were, having strolled the area a number of times. The Jolly brand is no longer there -- is one of the other hotels the same one, rebranded (Renaissance or Royal Continental)? Which landing was your fleet landing?

It’s no doubt 10x better than where many of them came from....some probably won’t WANT to leave it.

Yep.
It sure beats pink underwear,

in Arizonas’ 120 deg heat.
