In other words, we are about to find out that government, with 94% of its employees taking a day off, can still function!!

Political theater is all the Democrats have. The great sick-out will prove nothing other than endless social media posting about the number of folks who called out sick to create a false impression that people are angry with Trump’s policies. All to help win the midterms without having a single good idea for good governance.

Will we notice? Other than some Starbucks being closed?

Other than some Starbucks being closed? I am not so sure about Starbucks. A lot of the people working there are living paycheck to paycheck, and may not want to FA and FO. This will be civil serpents and other completely redundant and unnecessary "workers".

“Democrats are planning a nationwide sick day where they pledge to stop working, spending, and producing.”
And in other news the stock market will probably his new heights that day, government waste of tax payer dollars will hit new lows and Democrats will spend the day on TikTok as usual.

Not quite business as usual. Same amount of work getting done, of course, but in their absence, far less grumbling and b**ching about everything and everyone they don’t like.
Sounds like it could be a rather peaceful day at work, honestly.
