She is the product of a manufacturer, in this case the Democratic Party. The manufacturer sees the need for a product to fill a particular niche. It finds or designs the product and then markets the product. In this case marketing is a huge advertising budget. It’s been well known in marketing circles since at least “The Pet Rock” that if you spend X amount then no matter how bad or useless the product you will sell the product. The consumer, in this case the voters, have enough idiots who would buy the political equivalent of The Pet Rock that they’ve managed to keep her in office well past her best-by. They must be doing so because she either fulfills a purpose or she keeps someone else from occupying her niche.
