OK Everyone,
I have been in touch with Sir Chode and He’s hurting more than usual and the Meds are working on it and they make Him very sleepy.
I am going to ask that Everyone add Him to Your Prayer List to get feeling better and get His pain level down.
He Thanked Us for handling the Race Thread and Everyone being concerned about Him.

F1 putting the Canadian GP against the Indy 500?? That’s what they call suicide....Also- no summer break
Canadian GP to clash with Indy 500 in 2026 F1 calendar
The 2026 Formula 1 calendar has been confirmed, including a more direct clash with the Indianapolis 500 despite a change of date for the Monaco Grand Prix.
It was announced last year that Monaco would move from its traditional late May slot to an early June position in the schedule, allowing for Miami and Montreal to run as consecutive races in May prior to the start of the European season. However, there will still be a clash with the Indianapolis 500 avoided, with the Canadian Grand Prix now taking place on the same day as IndyCar’s flagship event on May 24.
Given the usual green flag times of each event – 12:45 ET for Indianapolis and 14:00 ET for Montreal – there will be overlap for a significant portion of both races.
Although no European races will take place before Canada, the race is slated for three weeks after Miami on May 3, rather than as a back-to-back.

Reminds me of the Daytona 24 hours race. Never on the same weekend as the Super Bowl….. of course some people say those good old boys aren’t too bright… 🤔 but bright enough to not program against another major sporting event in the country.
Can’t believe F1, there are fans which attend both races, or did until next year!

its comical they would do this...they are desperately trying to break into the American market- the only country with 3 F1 races, yet they’re going to battle side by side with the biggest event in all of auto racing???
If they were smart they’d run the Canadian GP on Saturday....
