“No man is above critique, nor are his cabinet members to whom he should be delegating.
Yet I have been smeared here at FR for said critique, i.e., ‘division.’
That is telling.”
Join the club... Same here. 100% unquestioned blind devotion or sit down and shut up.
Iran probably has enough bomb grade uranium to make about 20 bombs.
Think of trying to bomb 40 cans of coffee hidden all over Texas. The Israels couldn’t find 100 hostages hidden over a mere 25 or so square miles even with the ability to search on site.
The Israelis could bomb and disable the centrifuges, but Iran would still have most of its bomb-grade U-235 and the know how to build replacement centrifuges.
“To Johnson, the essence of leadership lay in building consensus among diverse groups. He opened his White House to mayors, businessmen, union leaders, congressmen, and academics. He directed dozens of task forces to design programs”

The chance at regime change in Iran was missed under Barack the “the magic negro” when an open protest/rebellion was going on in Iran.
“I represent the base and when I’m frustrated and upset over the direction of things, you better be clear, the base is not happy,” Greene said Friday...”
Who died and left her in charge?

Yes. The evidence is that in Congress, insider trading is legal and nearly all of them do it.
That’s why MTG has been able to radically increase her net worth. I’m not picking on just her. They are notable on both sides.
So do you have evidence that she did not take advantage of her exclusive position in Congress to insider trade? Mind you, this is not a “guilty until proven innocent” because she didn’t break the law that they set for themselves. She did it, they all do it.
How did MTG and lets throw in AOC as two notables - go from middle class to 10’s of millions in assets while serving their “constituents” in congress?
He absolutely must hand over any involvement in the war to Europe and get us out of it.
There won’t be any problem at all so long as Trump removes us from involvement in the war in Ukraine.
As suspected, this is pure supposition on your part.
MTG’s net worth mostly comes from the Taylor Construction company she and her ex bought from her father before she entered Congress. Before that she bought and sold a very successful Cross-Fit gym.
Her only other notable investment has been in Trump’s Digital World Acquisition Corp. which was made in 2021.
MTG has gotten rich making smart investments in the things she cares about...fitness, the family business, and Donald Trump. That’s about as unlike Pelosi as it gets.
I see Trump taking care of business on all fronts.

Likewise. MTG and many others myself included, unhappy with one or another of Trump’s initiatives, must do everything possible to avoid giving aid and comfort to the Marxist-Democrats, the lying legacy media, and the corrupt judges. Our guy may be bullet proof but like everyone else, he’s not “error proof”. We need to keep our eyes on the big picture.
Higher rates don’t change the amount of Treasury debt.
It does make interest payments on newly issued bonds higher, whether those bonds finance an increase in the debt limit or are rolling over maturing bonds.
The big problem is the inability to reign in spending by Congress.
Nixon was the last President with the ability to refuse to spend money that Congress had authorized. The Watergate Congress passed a law stripping Presidents of that power.
And at the same time Nixon ended the last vestige of the gold standard, which while not an effective brake at least could serve as a warning to Congress that their unbalanced budget was devaluing the dollar.
It does make interest payments on newly issued bonds higher, whether those bonds finance an increase in the debt limit or are rolling over maturing bonds.
There's a problem with your logic in a cash flow dictated by entitlement spending.
Was she representing her voters or herself when she voted for McCarthy when Gaetz and Boebert were clearly representing their voters by expressing grievances and trying to unseat him?
I’m not from Georgia so I have no answer to the question.
It can get that nasty out there I’m glad you aren’t in that toilet but MTG is sticking her neck out there this weekend.
She put the First Amendment first on an Israel boycott bill this afternoon.

I like MTG most of the time but she can get off base.
There are legitimate concerns with selling weapons to ukraine and minerals entanglements.
No war is the best policy.
Holding Trump to his campaign promises is good.
but then Trump is doing very good overall.
no more uS dollars for ukes!
Spot on. Your post is, by far, the most educated and rational post on this thread.
I proudly support Trump, but I don’t agree with him on every issue. This “deal” with Ukraine is one of those said issues.
I’m also a proud fan of MTG and I regard the posters who disparage and slander her as childish and cowardly RINOS who HATE Republicans who actually fight.
MTG is “America First”, not “Ukraine First”. There are a disturbing number of posters on FR who are “Ukraine First” and “America Last”. Every poster from Europe falls into that category.
Well stated, and thanks ;-)
You’re welcome and thank you:)
“There’s a problem with your logic in a cash flow dictated by entitlement spending.”
No, the problem is your lack of understanding of how government spending works.
All of it is funded either out of current tax receipts or from issuing additional Treasury debt.
Entitlement spending comes from those same two sources, just like every other dollar of federal spending. It’s not somehow special or different as you apparently believe.
Your previous idea that higher interest rates are inflationary when they actually do the opposite already was the tell that economics isn’t your strong point. Maybe study up more.
