If the rates are reasonable, expect Mike Lindell to fill in the moments in between the muumuu and Birkenstock ads.
Nina Totenberg will get a tote bag.
LOL..."Few Things Considered." That's clever.
I will miss Doc Martin
NPR Never considered Conservative or Christian values, and I never gave 'em a dime.
Doc Martin is on Pluto and either Acorntv or britbox.
NPR pushes the lgbt etc agenda
I resent the gub mint using my tax money for this crappola
LOL. I saw the article title and thought “That’s got to be the Bee”.
After listening to a few of each of these shows while driving to and from school and work long ago I renamed them “All Things Insipid” and “Morning Sedition”. I left “National Public Refuse” broadcast “programming” and did not listen back.
And no more Schweddy Balls.
There are absolutely zero “deadly” consequences of defunding NPR.
The parasite always ends up killing the host. That is unless the host kills the parasite first.
“I will miss Doc Martin”
One of my all-time favorite Brit TV shows, but you can watch all episodes on Acorn tv for a $8.99 monthly streaming fee. You can watch multiple episodes at your leisure vs waiting each week for another episode on PBS.
You could watch the entire 10 seasons in a month or two then cancel. I’m sure PBS will scream and yell to get the low IQ Dems fired up, but a 5% loss in revenue taxpayer revenue will not effect programming much.
MSNBC audience will increase by 0.02%
Now liberals will get to experience ideological radio the way conservatives have experienced it for decades. With two and a half minutes of annoying commercials every eight minutes or so.
Liberals really had it good with NPR. They got to have their worldview reinforced daily, in the prime drivetime time slots, commercial free and with lavish production values. All subsidized by their tax paying fellow citizens, many of them who are conservative.
Wait people still listen to the radio? I’ve replaced everything with podcasts. Even when I listen to Mark Levin once in awhile I’ll just listen to the day before his podcast. Much fewer interruptions.
I haven’t listened to NPR since Click and Clack retired.
Same here. After one of them died, there were re-runs. Then just gone. I know nothing about cars but their show was so entertaining.
Agreed
