He’s still un-drafted into the 3rd round.
If it wasn’t for hype around his father, he’d be an unknown.
They could have passed over all of them for all I care. I’m not a Concussionball fan anymore.
You can’t force a team to draft someone.
P>The irony is that Deion Sanders was the one who caused all the kneeling.
Yet another example of the President’s poor judgement in people... hard to believe he doesn’t realize that maybe these NFL owners and coaches don’t want to deal with the drama that comes with being associated with Reverend Nine Toes and his prodigy...
Why?
You don't think owners are looking out for their best interests - best quality and best price = best value?
Don't let politicians tell the self interest of private enterprise in the voluntary cooperation between buyers and sellers what do to.
Good genes??? Just ask ‘Jimmy the Greek’.
‘PHENOMENAL GENES!’
Uh oh, Jimmy The Greek got in a lot of trouble for saying something like that.
Collusion.
Not really but just look at all the commentators who ‘just don’t understand it’.
There’s a reason for it, more than one but this action(and reaction) doesn’t surprise me at all. There really is no room for any kind of distraction in this game unless the player is so good it’s worth the price. Deion Sanders could say those things as an all-pro corner on defense but a QB is a different animal. Too much going on.
Btw-I don’t even think Trump believes what he says on the subject. The NFL has their own deep state and they need to be cut down more than a notch.
Yep.
So you've gone full Obama?
A comment I read was that the kid wasn’t mobile enough, and he tended to hold on to the ball too long. We saw that with Daniel Jones. Maybe the kid is not cut out to be a QB but he might fill in somewhere else.
“He’s still un-drafted into the 3rd round.”
4th round 26 picks in.
Not quite that far yet. I’m stuck on hockey right now.
“If it wasn’t for hype around his father, he’d be an unknown.”
pretty much; we watched him and his team play most of the games last season and i personally thought he was slightly better than an average NCAA quarterback ...
And with him, you would get his father, who would likely involve himself in everything, and make a media spectacle if the kid was not paid, coached, or got playing time according to his expectations.
What NFL owner, coach or GM would want to deal with that?
He is simply not what he proclaims himself to be. If he was, the scouts would see it a the Teams would be fighting for him. He is not mobile, he takes too long to make reads and decisions. On top of all that, His combine was a bust. Supposedly His passes were weak, he refused to participate in the whiteboards, and he failed the personal interviews. Oh and his dad publicly listed teams he didn’t want to take his son. Now add in the future dad drama and the extreme entitlement and over confidence and people are actually surprised he is not getting drafted?
It would be interesting to look at the draft picks of the Teams Deion said he didn’t want to take his son. In trying to “steer” his son’s career he may have just steered him out of one.

Trump is still a politician, after all
He probably doesn’t care, but wants to get on the right side of the media hype and the likely unavoidable racial posing which will occur when the kid doesn’t get drafted, because of the circus surrounding him and his father Deion.
