They do make multiple picks. I understand that the amount of money in the contracts go down as the draft progresses.

My point was individual picks in the tens of millions and multiple picks possibly going into the hundreds of millions.

That is $40 million total - paid over four years.

Every other rookie gets paid less. Minimum rookie pay is $840,000 for year one.

In the sixth year, elite QBs earn about $45-$48 million per year.
