Back in the 80’s i’d spend like 10-15 bucks for a ticket.
These people are frigging INSANE LOL
They search any bag you might have , vehicle searches as well.
The costs to attend these shows is outrageous in my opinion but what the hey.
Electric Forrest , an electronic music festival in Michigan ticket page .
https://www.electricforest.com/pass-types/
General admission for 4 days starts at $ 600.00 it escalates from there , depending on what your wallet can bear , exceeding 2k + when you get to the RV camping . A 1 day General Admission is $175.
One of the complaints about Coachella was how long the vehicle searches were taking in the 100 degree heat.
I did not care for the music at EF, but the festival itself is quite crazy.
Iknow a guy who was conceived at Woodstock.
I know a girl who was conceived at the 1958 world serries in Chicago.
A festival that I am tentatively going to work in Sept., at Ocean City, MD
Somewhat cheaper since camping isn’t involved but you can spend as much as you can bear.

“The price of fish tacos is too damned high.”
Well Heat Wave was a one day and night affair so no need for camping or anything. It was a long day and I was probably a bit grungey by the end but a happy tired.
The people who can afford the money and time to attend these festivals take are either 'elites' or the kids of 'elites'. It's why Bernie and AOC went there - - to talk to 'their kind of people'...
Nicely distilled!
It is so easy to rip off stupid people like those ... they advertise their stupidity.
“The Masters’ food and drink is the same price as it was in the 50s. They should have gone to the Masters.”
Pimiento cheese sandwich
1955: 25 cents
2025: $1.50
I remember (kind of) going to a lot of concert type events wen I was in my young stupid years. But I NEVER made buying food my priority. In fact it was a waste of time and money to buy food there when drugs, alcohol and gas were the priority.
Post of the day...
: A festival with demonic acts charges diabolical prices.
“By today’s standards, those items aren’t outrageously priced at such an exclusive event. The problem seems to be the inexcusably poor quality.”
These snowflakes are crying about this? I was at the Bull Island Soda Pop Festival in 1972, the worst music festival of them all. Only Fyre comes close to it in disastrous failures.
You couldn’t pay me enough to go to this circus.
Why should Coachella be and different than Disneyland or any other venue that has a captive audience. I bet these same people don’t raise a single bitch about being financially raped over parking, gate fees, food and drink or souvenirs at the not so magic kingdom.
