We must have been posting at the same time. I’ll take my thread down.
Should have gotten the Oscar for Tombstone. Wasn’t even nominated.

I just noticed that. Leave it up and let the mods decide. The more exposure the better.

He was good as Simon Templar in the remake of “The Saint” that starred Roger Moore in the 60’s.

Damn
Such a great actor, RIP Huckleberry
Doc Holiday, Jim Morrison, IceMan etc..amazing roles
I once read that he really was sick during Tombstone filming, had flu or pneumonia but wanted to proceed because would give his role a true rendition of Doc having tuberculosis. I believe it, he had that gray pallor that looked like he was really sick. Sad that he ended up dying of pneumonia.

Should have gotten the Oscar for Tombstone. Wasn’t even nominated. Recognition of theatrical excellence is no longer the purpose of the Academy Awards.

Val Kilmer did a great job in ‘Heat’.

The Saint was one of my favorites and he was so great as Doc Holliday. He’s my Huckleberry.
