You sure are working hard to claim that JFK couldn’t pass his bills if reelected, that only his veep could.
I already acknowledge the scope error is post 52. I was using Google as my info source on the rifle.
The source for his level of accuracy came from a couple other threads here on FR.
When I went to boot camp there were three levels for marksmanship. Marksman, Sharpshooter and Expert. Even though he qualified, he got the lowest rating. Speaking for myself, getting Expert was quite easy, as I got it on both the M14 and M16.
Truman started with the OSS in the 40s by dropping an operations team in the north to save Ho. He was very ill. It expanded from there. When Ho embraced communism, Ike started with aid and arms. There’s a great documentary by Ken Burns and Lynn Noack.
LBJ was Majority Leader of the Senate for a long time and was known for his ability to strong arm Senators and House Members to get his way.
He was a wheeler dealer.
Also remember that LBJ was also a contender for the 1960 Democrat nomination. Also Johnson was not accustomed to losing.
Johnson would not be happy being second banana to Kennedy.
If Johnson had not been successful in engineering Kennedy’s assassination I would have expected him to run against Kennedy for the 1964 nomination.
I am not claiming that Kennedy could not pass bills.
My supposition is that Johnson would be better at it and that if Johnson applied his famous ‘Treatment’ any bill had a much better chance of passing.
Now you have LBJ running against JFK for the party nomination only months away, except of course you have LBJ having the president killed so he didn’t have to bother with starting a late campaign.
My point is that those bills were coming under JFK and his being killed didn’t create them it just shifted them to LBJ, but arguing with your extremely detailed fantasy history is something I’m not interested in.
Your history about Oswalds rifle is really wrong, all those idiotic conspiracy theorists were just trying to make a buck. Making the shots was with that very gun was not extremely difficult. In fact it was done successfully in a reenactment. Oswald was rated Marksman and while no sniper, was an average shot.

The idea that you can have some vast conspiracy without anyone revealing the truth is ridiculous. People just can’t accept that one deranged loser can change history, that’s scary.
The idea that Johnson was involved is absurd. Johnson turned out to be more effective at implementing Kennedy’s vision than Kennedy was.
I had many friends who were there. Some came back ok, and some came back in body bags, and some never came back. A guy who was in some of my classes in high school came back, got into an argument with his father, and hacked him to death with a machete. He killed the dog, and then went after his brother who escaped minus some fingers. After spending many years in an asylum he was let out and free. Recently busted on some drug charges and threats he made. He was a quite kid in high school, but never violent. Vietnam really screwed him up.
