One thing I have always liked about your posts is that they are thorough. There are at least three above this point that are all spectacular. But, I’m lazy. So, you get just one ATTA BOY!
Not according to Jesse Marcel and Jesse Marcel Jr., both retired Air Force officers. Jr. was a general.
General Blanchard's deathbed confession was centered entirely on the Roswell crash, same for other officers and enlisted men.
I'm so glad you brought that up! The main culprit here is the "digital zoom" that looses most of a good camera's resolution. There is no substitute for an optical zoom except, of course, being close enough to kick the tires. Without a tripod or other support, telephoto anything will yield diminished returns.
That half here/half there affect is nothing to sneeze at. Ed Waters wasn't the only one taking pictures at Gulf Breeze. Those objects made dotted lines when they danced around; and, the empty spots were of sky rather than dimmed hull. It was only after film was processed that people became aware of the "swirly dance" the objects were making. Since the background in those photos remained in a fixed position, we know that the cameras were not moved to create the affect. That incident preceded the digital camera age, so that takes Photoshop out of the question.
It is also important to note that debunkers would reject a crystal clear photograph for various reasons.
The Genesis story really has to be metaphorical. All of the people at that time could not possibly have understood technical descriptions of “The Way Things Really Work”, even Moses. I think the Genesis story is in a similar vein of babies being found in a cabbage patch.
I found it odd that you can't really discuss religious matters in church.
I try... lol :) Stick around and I will catch up in a bit. Deep in an important situation here right now that might not have been brought up at all. Hacked accounts.
“It is also important to note that debunkers would reject a crystal clear photograph for various reasons.”
Yep, that is true. Once that firewall is up it is up... I just wish the firewall could also keep them from clicking their mouse button on titles. :)

Not just Genesis, the whole book is chocked full of metaphorical accounts of this phenomenon. Jonah and the big fish that swallowed him for three days and spit him back on land. A USO... How else could he describe that?
“Oh, by the way. Don’t bring this stuff up in a Church’s Bible study. It will get you ass tossed out the door.
I found it odd that you can’t really discuss religious matters in church.”
Know what? That is why I appreciate you, Tired&Retired and few others here. There are a few who are objective thinkers here even though they are of faith. We are only being hypothetical right?
None of it is meant to replace faith...
I would feel very vulnerable if I didn't hold fast to Faith. Especially regarding things that go bump in the night.
Yeah, if we were discussing this topic in an effort to replace faith we would be spamming the religion thread with UFO posts all the time.
We don’t. We respect them for what they believe. Unfortunately there is a hypocritical double standard with that concept. Mutual respect is not so mutual it seems...
